Overdose
Oi, a company of the Telemar group (the biggest telecommunications
company in Brazil) is one of the main mobile phone operators
in Brazil. Present in 16 Brazilian states, the company
offers to its users distinguished services and the best
mobile games. One of them is Total Overdose distributed
by Samba Tech in partnership with the european Blaze (www.blaze.com/about.html),
a famous global publisher focused in branded and 3D games.
In order to take the brand “Total Overdose”
to the final users, broadcasting the games own download
service, and stimulating the campaign, Samba Tech promoted
a cultural contest among Oi users in partnership with
Blaze. This action allowed a bigger interaction of the
customers with the operator, prizing them with the game
version for PlayStation 2.
This kind of campaign proves to be sufficiently interesting
for all the involved ones: Publisher, Samba, Operator
and final Customer, adding value to all the involved companies.
Moreover, we could identify a 200% increase in the game
download numbers during the cultural contest.
